I hope you don't mean this:

As to the above: Who cares! We are not concerned whether the government, resembling its predecessor more and more by the day (except that they are more wily and polished to the West), tries him now, tomorrow, or never. Our concern is the future.

We will defeat every terriorism effort. We have defeated the Amhara Dergue, the Oromo OLF, The Guraghe Parasite and Chuavinist AMgara CUD, what comes next. Keep ur turn. We will prevail at last.

    Victory for Tigray.

Shows what a brainwashed parrot you are. You repeat like a drone what you have been told to memorize. You didn't defeat anybody. (Remember that was what your breathren Issayas used to say!)The Ethiopian people welcomed you hoping for a change. Unfortunately TPLF ended up being worse than the Derg.

Anyway, you will find out tomorrow about the new Ethiopian coalition led by the OLF/UEDF/CUD. This coalition will free Ethiopia at last including Tigray!!

Oh, Amahars and Oromos will kill each other in the meeting. Had it not been for TPLF, Oromos would have recorded the lragest number of people killed in the wrold.

    Dream on Neftegna

Oh my god, even the pretense to be ehiopian is gone - now you made it official that you really hate all other Ethiopians.

Are you sure you want victory for tigray? The peasants of Tigray won't let you back in after you made so many enemies for them; Eitrea on the north, "terriorist Oromos and Neftegna AMharas and Parasitic Guraghes" on the south, scorching sun from the sky, hot rock from the bottom - it is going to look like what 'yeneta' said hell would be like.

If you are talking about CUD froming international leadership..That is hardly earth shattering. The only thing noteworthy about the news is that the CUD leadership in prison was allowed to caucus...an indication that they are being treated with kid gloves..or perhaps it is humane (to the contrary of many doomsayers).

    Last anonymous,

kids glove, humane treatment... You seem to forget they should not be there in the first place. Oh I forgot, they are there for committing genocide, no it was changed to for thinking about committing genocide. What was the act of genocide? They asked their supporters to hoot their cars horn to show their opposition to TPLF.

Don't kid yourself, everyone knows that it is all about handing power to people's choice. TPLF wouldn't allow it for good reason. These days it is not safe to be out of power after murdering so many people. So, the choice is for the people to forge unity against their common enemy who is being isolated. Even their best ally Tony Blair is now an 'old colonial master'. Keep it up legesse puppie.

The reason for the imprisonment of the CUD leaders is for the court to deside. The proceedings of the court have been open and transparent. I have full confidence that, either way, justice will prevail.

The problem with the fanatic supporters of the opposition is that they are soley guided by rage and blind hatered of the government and paricularly the ruling party. They are quick to asign blame but fail to acknowledge any progress.

    what progress?

Which court? The one infested by TPLF cadres? The one that sent Professor Asrat, Dr. Taye to jail on trumped up charges, and purchased witnesses? The people have said it is illegitimate - TPLF is ruling by force not by consent. Just see how busy they are shutting down newspapers, blogs, terrorizing the population. This is not the way to live even in a palace - so scared of your subjects. No Ethiopian ruler was so scared of its population like this one.

    Oh, yes!

We are coming to our senses, finally. We are sitting and discussing... great!

We should also know that the rights of the people is not in the hands of the cadres, government or the opposition. I trust the opposition knows and practices human rights more than the dictarot in Addis.

Let us move on... the result of the discussion is to respect the rights of the people... to tell the people that freedom is not bestowed upon... it is already there. So the best we expect from the meeting is the realisation that the people of Ethiopia (all of them and each one of them individually) is free from any potential tyrany.

The way forward is to leave alone the people with their God given rights. Let the people speak... I mean the people has spoken and told us all what each one needs... Oh! sory some part of the country is not yet free to choose... so the way forward is to give the people the platform they needed to exercise their freedom.

I mean the so called political leaders are going to be screened through our 'truth commission' before they ever take a public Office-the Office of the people's elect.

    The people reign!

    Dear Zagol,
I am all for freedom of expression especially where the government muzzles all free press and all u hear is pure lies on the news. But lets us all becareful about what we say about other ethnic groups.Remeber at the end of the day,if we are ethnocentric like EPRDF wants us to be,they win.As tempting as it may be to lash out at the group that seems to be favoured at this point in time, not everyone from that group stands to benefit and the more we try to enmesh them with the government, the smaller the chance will be to have one Ethiopia.Lets tolerate and respect each other and by no means insult one another individual or group. For that guy saying all that stuff about the Oromos and the Amharas and gurages,i completely agree that he may well be a Shabiya or even Woyane, lets us be careful about all that is going on around us.Nothing is what it seems.Victory to Ethiopians.
