The coolest thing in town right now is memorising the provisions of HR 2003. ETV as usual did a great job of advertising it when it tried to present the bill as anti-Ethiopia. Yesterday at the Great Run which has become a routine protest march in the past few years, some runners clearly and loudly said what they thought of the bill.
HR Yemanew
Yegna
Meles Yemanew
Anwkewim
HRin Enfeligalen

It is good slogan: "HR Yemanew....
Yegna; Meles Yemanew.....Anwkewim;
HRin Enfeligalen"

But as a correction "Meles Yemanew.....Anwkewim" shall be corrected as "Meles Yemanew.....Ye- Eritrea"

Thanks EZ!

To ana@8:53
Are you telling us that 49,993 people were voicing anti-HR2003?
You must be kidding.

The reason why EPRDF government opposes the HR 2003 is that the HR perevnts criminals from Enjoying their life in the future. The safe heaven for these criminals(USA) is at stake. So we should not be surprised if they yell beacause they are worried about their future life.By the way,Meles Zenawi will give live speech tomorrow as of 09:00 Hrs,27 Nov 07 and he will say more about HR2003.

ez -

Did you try to give us the whole account of the protest? from what I gathered (participants themselves), protesters have voiced their love to kinijit and the leader, Birtukan.

Did you purposely avoid mention of those feeling and voices of the protesters so as not create antagonism with AAPO faction of HAILU?.

I hope EZ continues to uphold popular views reflecting nothing but the truth.

Do you really care any animosity by redundant individuals whose competence level matches that of "ene kemotku serdo aybikel" proverbial animal?. I hope not.

keep up with your good work of enlightning us with the reality/

Let our people read HR2003 for themselves and see whether it's bad or good for the country. The pro TPLF website Ethiopia first calls it "ye wuchale wul" It's actually insulting the intelligence of the readers.

The time to bury WEYANE has come and gone, all we have to do is dig a little bit and bury Weyane alive and make sure Weyane eats dust thru the mouth, nose and ears.

As I said yesterday,Meles gave the speech this morning and insulted people who support HR2003.His arrogancy was clear as he made speech to intimidate kinijit electees of Parliament for supporting HR2003 by calling them that they have big eyes like donkey but they could not see far.He went to furhter saying that his strategy becomes successful in dismantling Kinijit Parties. He did not say directly but one can undersatnd from his speech. His speech shows that his on the verge of dying. Now it is obvious that Ayele Chameso is supported by Meles Regime.

Yada yada yada. When are you guys going to shut your filthy mouth and do something good? Talk is cheap. We have not seen any bridge or house built by talking. I personally think that HR2003 does not do any good to Ethiopia. It may punish the government but it won't benefit anyone. So where is the logic? What are the proponents trying to accomplish? It is loughable to see such a high calibre Ethiopian intellectuals wasting their time on something of no use.

anon 8.30 - As stupid you are, obviously, the provisions of HR 2003 are beyond your tainted brain cells could comprehend. Whether you like it or not, HR is target tyrany and tyrants including your ethnocentric god fathers and opportunists in and around your dedebit gang. Once HR 2003 becomes law , your gang will be accountable for mass murders committed since their dedebit days and all money embezzled and currently stashed in secret bank accounts elsewhere will be returned to the righful owner; poverty stricken 80million Ethiopians.

As regards tyrants mumbling in his parliament, it shows his days are numbered like the last days of his predecessor who was by far better in many respects.

Tyrany will soon be history as tyrants are gasping for life in their death beds.

Coolest thing to?:) now that is funny. You sound like a suburban white girl named Jennifer from an upper middle class family talking about her latest shoes. EZ, are the farmers in Gojame and Arsi also memorizing HR2003 as the coolest thing to do. The shocking part is you really believe the garbage that you are recycling. That is scary.

To anon 9:42AM wayane cadre,
You are so intoxicated with the blood of innocent people you are pouring in streets of every town and city in Ethiopia while you sucked the wealth of the land, your soul and mined is so blinded it is obvious to see that you failed miserably in differentiating garbage from day to day reality.

You Black people are dumb! You will never be able to rule yourself, you need a white master to make you civilized. With a big country like Ethiopia you have not been able to feed yourself yet. You complain about EVERYONE under the sun. This government, that government, this ethnic group that ethnic group, and you never look yourself and ask WHAT HAVE I DONE? There will be no perfect government coming out from you, because Black people are imperfect creatures to begin with. So you should pray for the day to be colonized and let your suffering end. Until then no Black nation would have peace or happiness, you will be fighting each other using colonial lines and your ethnicity. YOU ARE CURSED!

From Yenenh To Anon at 10:22am
I feel so sorry for you as you are full of hate and lack knowledge. Much like your forefathers all you know is barbarism. Hmm and that has lead you to the latest of all places Iraq. You have lost there and you dont even know it, i guess you are blessed huh?? only 232 years.. and u think you run this world huh Jim Bob.
I dont have time to educate you on the fouls the colonial powers played wherever they went, and the intricacies of world politics becuase you dont have the capability to understand it. but I do recommend that you step out of your double wide trailer, spit out your tobacco, drop the fries, and learn to read Billy Bob. You are the norm of the trash.
Have a good night!!!

I think the great run of Ethiopia was not given much attention by the media like EZ which are pro-democracy. Being the 'rally' was the only one in its kind in the country because of the governmenment's stand agianst public gathering and demonstrations, it was the only option to magnify (indicate) the people's interest towards HR2003. what the funny thing in the governments side is thinking over calling of the residents of Addis and other areas to protest against the bill. Really it is funny!!!!! You know everybody !!! we Ethiopians didn't have a detailed information about HR2003 except some others who have a chance to visit the web sites but many thanks to ETV it did a nice advocacy as usual. There is one general truth in our country which shall be taken as a proverb in the future ' If the government says to this direction, think the opposite one' because this country's dwellers have never heard the truth from this government. As a result the rally participants showed their support to the bill. That was really very shocking to them. That was a time for them to understand their time to cheat the people over. This is what I would like to emhpasize, which would have been supported and magnified highly because there were many slogans in relation to HR2003 and others too.

Saturday December 7,

Dear ethio zagol,

Gone for too long?. hope you are ok.
Your choice of politics aside as Kinijit "divides" in to some two wings (factions), during the time of their imprisonment when some news was not available, you were a reliable source. People's sentiments were different for CUD leaders then. It was as if it was bigger than life. It became part of our daily lives, and they as if part of our families. Your service during that time is appreciated and memorable. It seems you are gradualy fading away as a medium that has completed its task. Some day, hopefully, we will be able to know who you really are.

Take care of your self and thank you.

Correction: Saturday Dec. 8
The post section does not show date and I had to correct.
-----------
Do you happen to have any say on Secretary Rice's visit to Ethiopia?. She is not much for HR2003 except suggesting access to Ogaden to alivate humanitarian crisis in that region, and one of the bill's priority being human right.
