Finally!

It seems now the blogger page one needs to access to post on blogspot.com is blocked. It is difficult to access and post using free proxy servers. The Ethiopian government might have finally figured out how to stop people writing; in addition to how to block readers from reading. But the only blogspot.com blog in Ethiopia(run from Ethiopia) which deals seriously with Ethiopian politics is Ethio-Zagol Post... and its subsidiary blogs. The government should and will know(after this post)that it can't block us from writing, whatever technology it uses. Finally it is done. But sorry, it isn't.

i don't think ethiozagol should be blocked and i have asked my friend in addisaba to check and she said it is not blocked.

anyway, other sites like ethiopian review that are publicly asking for more mass murder and more massacre in ethiopia SHOULD be blocked.

this is common sense. isn't it??

Anon above, u are one dereq woyane! You mention your friends as if the rest of us don't have families and friends in Ethiopia.

Go check at the Ferenjiwoyane (aka meskelsquare) to see who is blocked and who is not.

I think the anon above is zemedkun tekle lool.

Let's hope and pray that they will not manage to close you down. You are probably one of the two (Urael the other one) most reliable news source.
You are doing a great job under very risky condition. May God protect you!

E-Z please tell or teach as the secret how you managed to escape the bloking so that our friends in ethiopia can access you.

HOW TO OVERCOME A GOVERNMENT BLOCKAGE OF THE NET
Let some one you trust from abroad down load this software and make user name and password and send the address of his computer to you. You can access the net through his/her computer as a server. The most effective anti-censorship software, even the Chinese can’t control it in their own land let alone in Ethiopia!! Because every computer abroad can be used as a proxy server which is a daunting task for Woyane censorship!!

"Part of the problem is that, in many African nations, democratic politicians have failed to build a base beyond their own ethnic or religious groups. Obasanjo relied primarily on his southern supporters in the previous election. In Ethiopia, Meles Zenawi depends heavily on his Tigray ethnic group. Without a broad-based political party, these leaders simply wind up dividing their nations and sharing political spoils narrowly, often leading to post-electoral violence because the ethnic group out of power feels marginalized."

"Ethnic politics also does little to combat corruption, one reason why democracy has not brought a demonstrable decrease in graft in many African states. "
