Bereket suffers a second stroke

Bereket Simon, the PM's advisor, had a second stroke in the Israeli hospital he was being threated. Family and friend fear the worst for the man who was one of the leaders who tried to thwart Ethiopia's democratic revolution which was sparked by the events of last year's election. Almost all of his famil and some top TPLF members are at his bed side in Israel.

Patriots are every where from "Dur gedel to Betmengest"
This is un offical confirmation that bereket was given last warning from the
Ethiopian patriots two weeks before his sickness; To back off from his unjustice deeds in a way only he and the patriots could understand , but he refused as usall.
Therefore The patriots were forced to excute the maximum penality which was excuted semi satisfactorly!! our strugle will continue till
Ethiopia is free .

This is an important news item for Ethiopians and least important for media outlets. As removal of a tyrant from active political life due to illness or death is very important for Ethiopians, I wonder why other media outlets havent given space and airtime for update of condition of Butcher Bereket's condition except EZ. Do they doubt the authenticity of this news item or consider it unimportant? If EZ'S has published news item which rather accounts the creation of "misinformers and disinformers" of TPLF cadres, then other media outlets should assign sources and post assertion that EZ'S news item is incredible.

There is no need of capitalizing on someone's ill health. Try to depoliticize Bereket's sickness. Nature must be allowed to take its course. You do not pray death for anyone including your staunch enemy. It is unethical and doing that is being one of Berket.

i wish he share some of the strok with Meles. then they and you may understand what they did. How would you feel if it was your brother or mother that was kill infront of you! you are intellectualizing this far away from the situation infront of your computer.

Nothing hurts me personally than seeing a person going down to grave without having time to say sorry to the people he caused much pain. I do not mean he is dead yet, but sooner or later we all die. So it is better to hear from each and every dictator and barbarian that somehow they are human and feel sorry for their wrong deeds.

what good story. he is going to hell soon and we all ethiopian will be happy

He Shouldn't die before he confess the crime he has done!

Thanks EZ for your tenacity purpose and all the important updates and feedbacks that you bring to this forum.

As far as Bereket is concerned, everything is in the hand of God now and it's better to leave it there.

I wish this idiot to day as soon as possible. He is a cancer for the Ethiopian people..

Thank you God for Punishing these criminals

It's his twin brother Lucifer that is punishing him mercilessly.
I wish I was in that hospital to cut out that filthy tongue that was lashing out on my people not too long ago.

Hope his evil soul burns in the hottest crevices of hell.

On my last post (8/30) I said I wish Mr. Berket and his family well. From Ethio Zagols posting I have learned that Mr. Berket has a child/s and so do I. I know I would like to be around to see my child grow and I don't wish Mr. Berket or anyone else any differently. If that makes me a Woyane (as I was acused of being by an anonymous poster) so be it.

It is so sad to see some of us jump to conclusion and name calling if we dare say or write something that does not vilify the current government. In this case it is a healt of a person. I do not wish Mr. Berket death as many on this post do. As a matter of a fact I wish him well. Yes I wish him to get well. Not because I like him I do not even know him but because it is the humane thing to wish well for the sick.

If Mr. Berket is Guilty as many have said on this posting I am certain the Day of Judgment will come and his deeds will do him in.

I just do not know how we can aspire for a free and democratic country without even allowing for differing views to exist among us. Why do we have to assume differing opinions always come from Woyane or Woyane-lovers? Should we not discuss opinions and views on their on merit rather than labelling and tagging the messenger?

I see a lot of us complain about why many Ethiopians are not participating and contributing to our country. My guess is that most of us do not want to be labelled as "woyane" or "hodame" or anything else for that matter for daring to speak our mind.

A friend of mine once shared his observation by saying most of us have an overdeveloped emotional mind and way to underdeveloped logical mind. As much as I would like to disagree with him, most often reality proves him right than wrong.

Why Bereket is ill all of a suden? EPRDF is preparing for its' 6th or 7th Confreaence. ANDM is going to be central point in the annual conference. Bereket is the 'link' between ANDM and TPLF. I smell some thing bad!

Anonymous said...

Shegan,

Perhaps it is illogical to make a judgement on "most of us" from a very small self-selected sample.

I agree with you that we need more space to freely express our opinions with out name calling.

Anonymous said...

Dear Anonymous,

How I wish it was true that this in fact is a symptom exhibited by as you put it “very small self-selected sample”. The truth is I know I for one often hold back posting my views here as well as other places for the simple fact rather than the merit of the view presented, arguments often gravitate toward the identity of the messenger and what the messenger’s ulterior motives may be.

Much can be learned from debating differing views presented rather than the identity of the messenger no matter what his/her political affiliation may be. In fact even if the message is coming from “woyane” ( as the most used accusation) there is more value in knowing what the opponent is thinking. As the old saying goes “Keep your friends close, your enemies closer”

Dear Shegan,
Please don't take ur self as wise. You said you even didn't know Bereket so why are u telling us a kind of "yeábatoch mikir" speech. You said what you said that is ços you don't know who he is. So please leave the place for the ppl who knows him through his evil work and generation-killer actions. He doesn't deserve death now. God shall give him time to repent and get back to human action and regreat for what he has done. Besides, he shall be allive and get his punishment both from justice and his mind as well. Otheriwse there is no rationale to wish him healing. "cos to let him die means to minimize one gangrin part of the officials.
cheers

Mr. Shegan.

You said "... I do not even know him ..."

buddy we know him inside out and do not try to make a wise man out of yourself.

"Egziabher SiTel Enji Sitagel Aytayim"

If he dies I will say, because God wanted to end the suffering of his people, he chose to end one man's life. Period.

Shegan,

I see what you are saying but if there are many others not posting because they fear being labeled by a loud few, then that "most of us" comment would be wrong...plus you should feel free to say what ever you feel...this is the web, no one knows you, don't get your feelings hurt.

Sendek Alama,

God is no two bit assassin (and a bad one at that, the guy is still alive)...the guy was too busy plotting too many ills and under a lot of pressure - it just became more than he could handle and popped a few vessels...cut this superstitious shit out. If I were God, and doing what you say he is doing, then I would have started with Meles.

half truth does not make the story right. The person is in South Africa enjoying the suncity. You guys wish him all the worset, but the contrary is happening. I don't love or hate the person, but I respect for what he is standing. Bunch of neftegna dream, dream your days are nuumbered. Don't you read news about Haromaya , Adama, Jimma universities and other institutions, the opporessed will not stop until they achieve their liberty. Melese regime is half way, we the oppresed people will push to the end, ie. total freedom from the bondage of abesha.
See you in free and democratic ethiopia (where the majority rule and the minority right will be respected).

first meles then samora then bereket... are we intend to focus on them.. while the other gangsters doing thier job.watch out guys......

Anonymous said...

Bereket is just one person. I wouldn't shed a tear drop if he dies.

My greatest wish is to see the day when he and his gang will face justice, and be treated as "innocent until proven guilty" so that they will suffer before they die (assuming that they still have some cnscience as the average human being is supposed to have).

As we all know Bereket is Eritrian,Eritrian's are sworn enemys so why do we expect a pigen from snakes egg. Bereket will go or he will be fixed on wheel chair for years to come.
I hope the remaining government officials will stop and think that this will happen to them any time.

Dear Friend,

Really it is very intersting News of this Idiot Berket.

The main cause of his Illness is not you people talked Here.

His is shoot by His Guard and His servival and coming back and working in his post is not expected. what is Expected is that he may die from this Gun Shoot.

My inside informant told me from Addis Today that he was being treated in one of the hospitals in Addis Abebe and after that due to the seriousness of his illness he is sent to Isreal for further tratment

Most people who sow him in the Hospital, Addis Abebe, Expected that he will die very soon

This is really a very intersting development

To all who has commented on my posting. First let me say it is so good to see the focused argument. It is such a joy to see civilised disagreement. I disagree with the view of wishing an ill person death. But that does not make my opinion any wiser than the once that wish him death. It is just different view. Agree or disagree it is so cool just to argue the merit rather than the personality.

To my friend who has said "...plus you should feel free to say what ever you feel..." While that is true I feel it will be wasting my time and the readers if the discussion is more of an insult rather than exchange of ideas. I suppose I am a bit selfish with my time.

Anonymous said...

Is that true he tried to commit suicide?

Anonymous said...

Ethio zagol,, Please try to do some sort of research about Berket whether he is gunned down with his Guard one not.

In bot cases, there is no doubt that he is at critical condition with respect to his health.

Thank you for these always fresh news
Take care of you self from the thugs

For Bereket Death is a very small justice, I would like the Israeli doctors to keep hime alive so he can suffer more strokes. I hope he dies after long suffering, preferably for more than three years in coma and then die like an animal, he has helped kill so many innocent Ethiopians and spilled their blood in the streets its about time he suffers at least half of their suffering.

It would have been good if Bereket was able to apologize, for all the hurt he had caused to the millions of Ethiopias, at least before his death, if he is to die any way.I am not sure whether he will be forgiven if he did, as he had hardened so many souls' heart with hate by his deeds as an active politician. I feel sorry for his innocent survivors who have to live in isloation because of the legacy he has left them behind.

Who is Bereket anyway?

I hope he dies. Gosh, I hate people I don't know.

I am a Christian but I will admit that I am not the most religious person there is. As such, I will be lying if I were to say I am not at all comfortable with this news. While I feel a great deal of joy for Ethiopians, who have to deal with one less tyrant, I think whether or not Simon should die in this way is God's call.

He is still recovering in an ARMY HOSPITAL in Addis Ababa, according to Finote Radio!!! expected to be discharged NEXT WEEK.

I do not want Bereket to die but I want him to live and see how much life mean to everyone. Like him all the people who were senselessly killed by Weyane wants to have their kids protected, loved and grow. That is what Meles and Berket have been doing for the last 15 years (senselessly killing of people). I want him to be a changed man who would spend the rest of his life saving lives not destroying it.
