Professor Mesfin suffers from Pneumonia

Doctors who carried out medical tests confirmed that professor Mesfin is suffering from pneumonia. He has loss of appetite, decreased activity and breathing difficulties. When two days ago he was taken to hospital, eye witnesses said that he could barely walk. Pneumonia is a common lung infection at the Kaliti jail where hundreds of people live in one cell. Police hospital sources claimed that the 76 years old academic and human rights activist is now in a better condition
............
The 32 year old CUDP secretary, Muluneh Eyuel, is put back to the solitary confinement. It was reported that he had strong words for US charge d'affaires Vicki Huddlestone when she asked him to make a written acceptance of the constitution as a precondition for reconciliation negotiation. He was later told by prison security that what he did to the diplomat was unacceptable. The solitary confinement is, according to sources, a punishment for that. Muluneh was in solitary confinement where light was unavailable in April and May.
The number of political prisoners being taken solitary confinement is increasing. Yesterday, Editor of Ethiop newspaper, Sisay Agena., was also taken to kerchelle and put in solitary cell. CUDP council member, Andualem Arage, and journalist Eskinder Nega have been in solitary jail for three weeks now.

..."acceptance of the constitution as a precondition for reconciliation negotiation"...

I thought CUDP accepted the constitution all along. What is going on here?

The, I speculate that there is Vicky's hand for Eyoel to be sent to the solitary confinement. If she is not aware of that, the issue has to be brought to her attention by some means, that her cynical presence in prison result torture.

Breaking news this and breaking news my ass! What is it with you and ER, anyways? - Two little toaddies with attitudes.

If there ever was a need for one more reason to lament the recent media repression by ethiopian dictators - being forced to turn to callow reporting by you and ER for home related news - should be it.

To the last anon
Tell us what you have done that could overshadow, as you characterized it, the callow reporting of ER and EZ, or if you could let us know what a real reporter can do in this case. Just do not bash their head for what they are doing, provide specific instances or examples why you think they are inexperienced and then of course how you are going to fix it either by doing it yourself or giving them your expert assistance. I know both of them well and will be glad to take your backing. Could you do that?

Don't you worry my True-Ethiopian Brothers and Sisters, the time will come where we will have the law on our side it is not too far away. Once we dismantle the terror instituted against our people by TPLF WOYANE BANDITS we will be living in a just country where we will all have the right to vote for the union again, then we will deal them bastards with what they deserve, a BOOT FROM THE UNION. Ethiopian people have spoken we do not want to live in a union where TIGRE is a leader or in charge. the first thing we should do is change our currency and not validat the hidden money TIGRES accumulated then we shall se who benefited from the TPLF WOYANE organization. They will try to change the money before it is made the law of the land, but rest assured we will have our revange on these MURDERERS. It is a matter of few months, everything will be straightened out.
