I am inlove with your web-page. May God bless you for your warmful news.
I am really eager to see how the Ethiopian people get crazy because of Happiness soon.
You guys!
Do't try to look at or try to separate the release of the CUD leaders from the struggle to democaracy. One way or the other Meles Zenawi must go. If he chooses to go gracefuly - then for the sake of peace we may accomodate that. If he trys to hang on to power by making the CUD leaders as a bagraining chips then we will not allow that.
The starting point for a graceful departure is releasing the CUD leaders unconditionally with out letting them sign any letter.
I agree sir. But my instict is telling me that we don't have to miss these heroes languishing in that dirty cells. Let they be in between us and lead the struggle for democracy. I don't know what to come. But I see ,, these heroes are the only people who can stand infront of us to fight the devil and et al. Sorry to say that! You understand what I mean? They are the only and only people to be relied on, at least to me.
Meles will try to trick them from effectively participating in politics.
Maintaining power is his only mission in life!! Don't you ever forget that!!
Let our leaders in Kality decide on how to handle the mediation effort and for their eventual release. These great Ethiopians do have no hatred what so ever even to their jailers. The letters of Professor Mesfin, Ms. Birtukan, Dr. Yacob and Engineer Shiferaw did mention about reconciliation, peace, development and democracy. These are reliable Ethiopians who can promote real reconciliation of the South African type which will lead our country enter the new Milinium in peace and harmony. God bless Ethiopia and its God loving People.
As much as i want peace, reconcialtation ect...you need two parties to obtain that, our elected leaders have always shown there love for the people and the nation, but negociation with an uncompromising party is not possible....It is just another round of yoyo playing with the hearts and minds of our people and leaders. I think nothing will change, meles and co are just intensifying their attempt to break the will of our beloved leaders, he knows that time is ticking, he wont be able to sustain all this pressure much longer. So holding on should be the keyword today.
