Yes, it is a wonderful sign but
it is also very premature to celebrate. The butcher of Ethiopia is here to talk to state department people. Unless the president signed it into law we still have a lot to do.

VVV.......

Ambassador Samuel has passed out in his office. He could not beleive what is happening with the house of representative.

Sami, wake up buddy. Whant some sig? You might as well enjoy your days in DC. Your days as ambassador are few. According to HR 2003, you might not enter the United States again.

Dear EZ, you are amongst the major contributors for this great day - All true Ethiopians who kept deaf to the whole dragging friction, etc and worked hard for the sucess of the Bill, BRAVO. Keep on your good faith and help your motherland in any form of truth that your wisdom tells, we millions have open ears to you. Yezewetir adnakih.

Dear EZ - I had a clue as to your standings on most issues - deceptive and otherwise. Your writings above are very revealing as to your shallow analysis and understanding of the Ethiopian political landscape. Your dislike for Isayas is all but meant to express your disapproval of AFD and hatred for ONLF and OLF among others. I believe deep in your heart, you have the "current woyane" mentality in you. You share the dislike for the Oromo and the Oromo struggle for equality and democracy!!! Don't misrepresent the facts and hide behind "Isayas" - No matter how you try to frame the propaganda, the Oromos and other oppressed nationalities will have the legitimate place in DEMOCRATIC ETHIOPIA!!! people

Tecola Hagos(so called professor), was among the chief who was propagating against HR 2003. These seemingly big are hyper today. It is a crazy day for them.[Tecola is a pseudo democract deposed by Woyanne while working at the Foreign Ministry]. He was constantly rallying against HR 2003. Now it became his day. What do these people think now. Are they still die hards.Ethiopia has children who fight to salvage and dismantle her

I wondar What Ambassdar Sami would do. For sure he will drink the whole night today. I guess he has to call his drunkard boss Inderias Eshetie to accompany him.Today is a day for Sami to relieve him of his duty. IT IS A MEMORABLE DAY SAMI. Go and sip. A drunkard always seeks a moment to sooze. Go to down town DC.There are cozy places. Sami for sure is to black out and jitter jagging.

This is a great day for the fledgling democratic movement...and leKso for woyannes.

There is one hurdle more to go ... the Senate... and that will be it!!!

We have to keep the pressure on and tell these woyannes that they can't kill our people with our own tax dollars and get away easy.

By the way, I am the same one who tells it like he sees it when it comes to exposing 'manipulators & groupies' of power-hungry zealots.

However, when it comes to struggling against the evil woyane we are all united.

HR2003 will be pass into law!!!!
One Love.

Is there any one in the Senate, we can contact to tell the truth about the misery of Ethiopians so that the bill also PASSES with no objection?

This is a great day for the people never been heard by the west.

You sorry people!!!!
All your life is empty! What is there to celebrate? What does 'banda' mean to you guys? YOu are selling your country to US and it is a shame. The truth is nothing will happpen to woyane with stupid opposition like you. Who is going to be hurt is the poor people of Ethiopia. And who benefits, Our enemies such as Issayas and Egypt.
Of course very few people have left who think for Ethiopia. The rest is a bunch of losers who are selfishly aiming at grabbing power at any cost.
This bill even if it passes will not make you any better. Mark my word.

Guess who was always agianst a 'bill' passing in US in the times of Apartheid South Africa? And the Apartheid regime in South Africa always agrued "[if the bill passes]Who is going to be hurt is the poor people..." And "Mark my word." And "[ANC]or [CUD in Ethiopia's case] is bunch of losers who are selfishly aiming at grabbing power at any cost.

Why do TPLFs always bring up Issayas and Eritrea?? Please, someone explain to me. Why complain about a detail during a tsunami?

Professor Al Mariam and his team working hard tirelessely against lobyists earnining a hefty amount of salary from the tyrant Meles family. He deserves a huge credit on this. He is an Ethiopian hero and giant who stayed awake at all times and he will be respected by most freedom lovers ethiopians.

God bless him and his family for his unrelentless time, money and energy he put to fight the lobbyists as well as Ethiopian academics and politician who were against the bill.

He is the true human right defender.God bless his work for the future.

I think this is a time for more deep thoughts than jubiliaition. As some of us heard on the Amharic program of VOA yesterday, the white house has hinted its objection to the bill. I believe, even though we register the samae success on the senate's floor using similar strategies, the going will be tougher when it gets to the the white house. This is time to cool down on the jubiliation and start the debate about the right strategies.

What a Job
I'm proud of Dr Birhanu and Birtukan to have their voice heard

What a day

Go On Go On Ethiopia will shine one day

Anonymous said...

My Hero is Al Mariam. Every Ethiopian is should be proud of you.

To avoide veto by the President of the United States, there are certain things that can be done.

The bill HR 2003 should pass with 2/3 support in the Senate. This makes the bill VETO PROOF.

The game is not over there fore, let as all work hard to make sure the bill gets full support in the Senate.

God Bless Ethiopia

as Zebra never changes its stripes woyanes(aigaforum) have turned to threaten Dr B rhanu and Birtukan saying it as " their peril". ....that will lead them to wayane's demis rather...

Focus on this note this is US mediation result.

Jendayi Frazer, the state department’s top official on African affairs, hailed what she called “unprecedented” agreements between the Ethiopian opposition and government, which she said were “a monumental advancement in the political environment”.

The oposition memebers in the meeting are Lededu,Merara gudina,Beyene petros,Bertukan Medeksa and berhanu nega.

Is the agreement bring true democracy, justice liberty, freedom, human right in EThiopa ?

Is the agreement to prolonge TPLF/Woyane in power under different name ?

What evere the out come is we have to continue the struggle for true change to Ethipian people.
